Recommended Usage

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded immunohistochemical staining. For immunohistochemistry, a concentration range of 1.0 - 5.0 ?g/ml is suggested. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

Application Notes

CU-18 detects a human breast carcinoma associated glycoprotein BCA-225, a 225 kD glycoprotein secreted by the T47D breast carcinoma cell line.

Function
BRST-1 may act as a physical homophilic interaction molecule between intestinal epithelial cells (IECs) and intraepithelial lymphocytes (IELs) at the mucosal epithelium for providing immunological barrier as a first line of defense against mucosal infection. BRST-1 plays a role in embryonic stem cells proliferation and differentiation.
