Syn514 was raised using oxidized alpha-synuclein (α-synuclein) and recognizes its native and nitrated/oxidized forms.

The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.

Recommended Usage

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded immunohistochemical staining. For immunohistochemistry, a concentration range of 0.5 - 5.0 ?g/ml is recommended. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

Application Notes

Additional reported applications (for the relevant formats) include: immunofluorescent staining3,7.

Syn514 also shows some cross reactivity with beta- and gamma-synuclein.
