- Recommended Usage
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by Western blotting. For Western blotting, the suggested use of this reagent is 1.0 - 10 ?g per mL.?For immunocytochemistry, a concentration range of 1.0 - 10 μg/mL?is recommended.?For immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections, a concentration range of 1.0?- 10??g/mL?for chromogenic staining and 0.5?- 2.0??g/mL?for fluorescent staining is suggested. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

SP17 reacts with native, denatured and recombinant synaptic vesicle protein synaptophysin expressed in CHO cells. The antibody is particularly valuable for immunocytochemical studies of the brain due to its stability in formalin sections.?
