- Concentration
- The antibody is bottled at the concentration indicated on the vial, typically between 2 mg/mL and 3 mg/mL. Older lots may have also been bottled at 1 mg/mL. - Storage & Handling

- Recommended Usage
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by the inhibition of proliferation induced by recombinant human IL-4 (Cat. No. 766206) at 7 ng/mL on TF-1 cells. ND50 range: 0.02 - 0.1 ?g/mL. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

IL-4 is produced by Th2 cells, naive CD4+ T cells, NKT cells, and basophils.
- Function
- Major role in differentiation of TH2 cells and induction of Th2 associated cytokines, suppresses TH1 and TH17 cell responses, induces macrophage activation and TSLP production, enhances IgE-mediated in B lymphocytes, mast cells, and basophils.
