ELISA Detection - Quality tested
- Recommended Usage
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by ELISA assay. For use as an ELISA detection antibody, a concentration range of 0.25-0.5 ?g/ml is recommended. To obtain a linear standard curve, serial dilutions of CCL17 (TARC) recombinant protein ranging from 500 to 7.8 pg/ml are recommended for each ELISA plate. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
- Application Notes
ELISA Detection: The biotinylated Poly5230 antibody is useful as a detection antibody for a sandwich ELISA assay, when used in conjunction with the purified Poly5230 antibody (Cat. No. 523002) as the capture antibody and recombinant human CCL17 (TARC) (Cat. No. 573809) as the standard.
Note: For testing human CCL17 (TARC) in serum, plasma or supernatant, BioLegend's ELISA LEGEND MAX? Kits (Cat. No. 441107 & 441108) are specially developed and recommended.

- AB_2562795 (BioLegend Cat. No. 523003)
- Structure
- Chemokine.
- Distribution
- Upon activation, CCL17 is expressed by PBMC, monocytes, dendritic cells, bronchial epithelial cells, smooth muscle cells, keratinocytes, and fibroblasts.
- Function
- CCL17 chemoattracts T cells, Th2 cells, and CLA+ CD4+ T cells and plays major role in allergic diseases. CCL17 can be upregulated by IL-4 in T cells and by a combination of cytokines in different cells.
- Interaction
- T cells, Th2 cells, CLA+ CD4 T cells, T (reg) cells, NK cells, NKT cells, and macrophages.
- Ligand/Receptor
- CCR4.
- Cell Type
- Monocytes, Dendritic cells, Epithelial cells, Fibroblasts
