- Structure
- GPI-anchored mouse TNF receptor super-family member that lacks a cytoplasmic death domain.
- Distribution
- Express on many types of cells, including some tumor cells.
- Function
- Appear to have a negative effect against TRAIL receptors because it lacks an intracellular death domain, and produces a competitive blockage of TRAIL-mediated apoptosis. The role of the DcR1 in apoptosis has not yet been clarified.
