Recommended Usage

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded immunohistochemical staining. This antibody is pre-diluted, and is ready-to-use with Biotin-based detection systems such as USA Ultra Streptavidin Detection.

Application Notes

This antibody is effective in immunohistochemistry on?formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue (IHC-P).

This antibody recognizes MART-1 (Melan-A) [MART1, MART 1] an 18kD transmembrane protein that is expressed in cells of melanocytic lineage. MART-1 is expressed by a large proportion of melanomas and by melanoma cell lines.

In Immunohistochemistry citrate retrieval has also been verified for use with this clone.
