- Recommended Usage
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by blocking the binding between recombinant a-NEu5Ac-PAA and recombinant mouse Siglec-E-Fc chimera (carrier-free) (Cat. No. 551506). The ND50 range is 0.04 - 0.3 μg/mL. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

Murine Siglec-E is expressed by neutrophils, NK cells, monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, and B1 cells.
- Function
- Siglec-E regulates neutrophil recruitment. Siglec-E signaling negatively regulates the LPS-induced production of TNF-α and IL-6 by macrophages. It is upregulated by a variety of TLR agonists.
