Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by western blotting. For western blotting, the suggested use of this reagent is 0.125 - 1.0 ?g/mL. For immunoprecipitation, the suggested use of this reagent is 2.0 ?g/test. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
This clone was tested for ICC using HeLa cells fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with either methanol or Triton X-100. Neither method resulted in E2F1 staining.
This clone does not recognize mouse E2F1. However, when tested by western blot on mouse lysates, a ~35 kD protein of unknown origin was observed.
