Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by Western blotting. For Western blotting, the suggested use of this reagent is 2.0 - 10 ?g per ml.?For immunocytochemistry, a concentration range of 5.0 - 10 μg/ml is recommended. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

This antibody is effective in immunoblotting (WB) and immunocytochemistry (ICC).
The epitope for 6B8/FMRP lies between amino acids 345-350 of human FMRP. This clone does not cross react with FXR1 or FXR2 and is human specific.
This clone is also known as 6B8.
