In the first WB figure above, the cell lines selected? for antibody testing were chosen to demonstrate specificity and species cross-reactivity, A549 was chosen as a human control cell line that does not express Syk protein; RPMI 8225 and Daudi are human cell lines that express Syk protein; and A20 cells is a mouse cell line that expresses Syk protein. Predicted SYK expression was obtained from Human Protein Atlas.
