Recommended Usage

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 0.5 ?g per 106 cells in 100 ?L?volume or 100 ?L?of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

Distribution

Widely expressed in many tissues including the intestine, muscle, heart, cornea, retina, and pancreas; highest expression in lung and kidney

Function
Ligand binding induces mitogenesis and differentiation; over-expressed in gynecological tumors suggesting a possible role for this receptor in breast and ovarian tumorigenesis. Unique alleles (Arg388) in FGFR4 have been associated with cancer progression
