Recommended Usage

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded immunohistochemical staining. For immunohistochemistry, a concentration range of 1.0 - 5.0 ?g/ml is suggested.?For Western blotting, the suggested use of this reagent is 1.0 - 5.0 ?g per ml. For ELISA Detection applications, a concentration range of 0.5 -2.0 ?g/mL is recommended. To obtain a linear standard curve, serial dilutions of α-synuclein recombinant protein ranging from 6 to 1500 pg/mL is recommended for each ELISA plate. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

Application Notes

This antibody reacts with human a-synuclein. It does not react with mouse or rat a-synuclein. The epitope lies within amino acids 103-108 of a-synuclein.
