| 产品介绍 | GPCR39 is an integral membrane protein, which belongs to family 1 of G-protein coupled receptors. GPCR39 expression has been documented in human brain and peripheral tissues. ESTs have been isolated from human tissue libraries, including normal eye, brain, heart, melanocyte, uterus, vessel, cancerous brain, germ cell, kidney, and ovary. Function: Zn(2+) acts as a agonist. This receptor mediates its action by association with G proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. Its effect is mediated mainly through G(q)-alpha and G(12)/G(13) proteins. Involved in regulation of body weight, gastrointestinal mobility, hormone secretion and cell death. Subcellular Location: Multi-pass membrane protein Tissue Specificity: Expressed in many tissues, including the stomach, intestine and hypothalamus. Similarity: Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. |
